[세계뉴스 전승원 기자] 지하철 5678호선을 운영하는 서울도시철도공사(사장 김태호)는 임원추천위원회 공모 및 추천절차를 거쳐 기술본부장(상임이사)에 최정균 안전총괄실장을 20일자로 임명했다고 밝혔다.

신임 최정균 본부장(56)은 1984년부터 서울지하철공사에서 10년, 1994년부터 서울도시철도공사에서 21년을 근무해 지하철에만 31년을 몸담은 전문가로, 기술연구.차량.안전관리 등 다양한 분야의 업무를 두루 섭렵했다.

공사는 특히 2006년 기술연구부서 설립 당시 최정균 본부장이 초대 센터장을 맡아 기술 국산화 및 신기술 개발에 힘쓴바 있다며, 향후 도시철도의 기술력 향상에 큰 역할을 할 것으로 기대한다고 설명했다.
